Hammons Will Drive Innovation for Leading Provider of Workforce Management Solutions for Global Companies
DENVER, December 17, 2013 – IQNavigator, the leading provider of non-employee workforce management solutions to Global 2000 companies, today announced that Sherri Hammons has joined the company as its chief technology officer (CTO). Hammons joins IQNavigator from Colorado Governor Hickenlooper’s administration where she was the state’s chief technology officer in the Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT). In her role as CTO at IQNavigator, Hammons will be responsible for driving continued innovation in the company’s solutions for non-employee workforce management and services procurement.

Hammons has more than 20 years of experience developing and executing IT strategies for organizations in both the private and public sector. In her role as the chief technology officer for the State of Colorado, Hammons was responsible for architecting enterprise solutions that align with the State’s business goals, developing enterprise-wide standards, formulating a sustainable and agile technology strategy, and creating a roadmap for adoption of the strategy. She also led innovation initiatives involving emerging technologies that would support OIT and the State’s efficiency and effectiveness. Her initiatives won numerous awards during her tenure, including the CIO 100 Award in 2012 and 2013 and a Top 5 Technology Innovator in 2012.
Prior to working with Governor Hickenlooper, Hammons spent more than three years as CTO for PaySimple, a credit card and online payment processing company, overseeing technology software engineering, networking/IT, and technology support teams. Prior to that, she was an executive at Abacus, a cooperative database company for the direct marketing industry, where she was vice president of data and model performance and oversaw the company’s software development for international markets. She also served as senior technical architect in charge of the company’s highly scalable, proprietary software, which is the largest cooperative database in the country. Hammons earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Computer Science degree from Rogers State University.
