IQNdex is Launched!
After more than two years of effort, IQNavigator today announced IQNdex, a price index for temporary workers. This was a real team effort to normalize millions of assignments to a common group of job titles, ensure the data’s accuracy and completeness, aggregate the transactions with consistent weightings, and curate the resulting index values. Much appreciated was the input of many clients who collaborated with us on early views of the data and analyses.
Fortunately, as a multi-tenant SaaS provider, IQNavigator is able to easily aggregate across all transactions. And being built on the Oracle database, our analysts could take advantage of the full flexibility and scalability of Oracle.
Most interesting were the results of all the follow-on analyses that we performed to dig into trends, understand outliers and confirm hypotheses and cause-and-effect. The white paper in particular has some interesting conclusions in it about the linkage of temporary-worker rates and unemployment, and the different phases of buyer behavior during and after the recession.
