The High Quality of Contract Talent

Organizations are increasingly utilizing a contract talent strategy to solve their workforce needs for a host of reasons, including cost, scalability, flexibility and time to efficiency. But employers usually limit their talent management practices to those same areas, while perhaps overlooking one very important recruiting measure: quality of hire.

This is a tricky metric for talent leaders; it isn’t standard or easy to implement, it requires thoughtful planning across siloed business units and nimble execution. But it may be even more critical in contracted talent than in permanent employees. With permanent employees, after all, one may have several years to coax out top performance. This webcast will highlight a concept previously unexplored: how can an organization ensure that contract talent quality meets or exceeds what is needed?

DENVER, Colorado – November 12, 2009 – IQNavigator, the leading provider of solutions that help global companies manage spending on contract workers and outside services, today announced the appointment of veteran technology executive Lou Andreozzi as president and chief executive officer.

“IQNavigator stands at an inflection point as our growth is accelerating and the market we created 10 years ago is reaching a critical mass. I am excited to bring on board a proven public-company executive with Lou’s experience and unique leadership skills to help rapidly scale IQNavigator to the next level organically and through strategic acquisitions,” said John Raeder, CEO, IQNavigator.

Raeder founded Denver-based IQNavigator in 1999 with a small team of technologists to develop an innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for contingent workforce management. With a vision to automate and revolutionize the business and distribution models for all outside services spending, he further pioneered the services procurement sector in 2005. Today, the company does business in 93 countries and profitably manages billions of dollars in spend for many of the Fortune 500’s most successful corporate brands. Explosive sales bookings and revenue growth have earned IQNavigator repeated recognition on the Deloitte Fast 500 and 50 lists, Red Herring Top 100 Most Promising Tech Companies list, Supply and Demand Chain Executive Top 100, among others. Raeder himself has been repeatedly recognized for his vision and leadership as he guided IQNavigator through 10 consecutive years of revenue growth.

Andreozzi, an experienced leader in technology and business information services, was president and chief executive officer of LexisNexis North American Legal Markets, a $1.2 billion division of Reed Elsevier. During his tenure, LexisNexis acquired the industry’s top two electronic filing companies, the leading electronic discovery company, the leading docket database, the #1 customer relationship management system for law firms and numerous market-leading practice management tools. Most recently, Andreozzi was CEO of Inference Data, a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider of solutions for legal data analysis and review.

“I look forward to leading a company with such a strong reputation and record of success in the emerging market for services procurement and spend management solutions,” said Andreozzi. “As the market continues to grow, I fully expect IQNavigator to be the definitive leader and to continue setting an aggressive pace with innovative new solutions that help our clients drive more savings and realize faster bottom-line benefits.”

Software to manage spending on outside services and contract workers features new user interface, reporting and workflow

DENVER, Colorado – November 4, 2009 – IQNavigator, the leading provider of vendor neutral solutions that help global companies manage spending on contract workers and outside services, today announced the launch of IQN10, the industry’s most advanced software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for services spend management.

“This release marks a milestone for our industry and for our customers,” said John Raeder, CEO, IQNavigator. “10 years ago, IQNavigator was the first solutions provider to develop a true SaaS platform for services procurement, and we continue to deliver breakthrough savings to our clients with our unique MSP offering. Today marks a decade of continuous innovation that has helped our clients save millions, improve compliance and drive bottom-line results.”

IQN10 is the 10th version of the company’s award-winning vendor management system (VMS). The system has 1.7 million registered users in 93 countries managing approximately $10 billion in spend. The new release was developed with input from IQNavigator clients such as 3M, Accenture and Jeppesen, and features a completely redesigned user interface. Screens have been enhanced and simplified to provide one click access to any contract position, and a single screen now shows information formerly found across five separate screens. New graphics allow users to easily determine current status of any process, previously completed steps as well as any future actions needed. IQN10 also features custom reporting across more than 5,000 data elements, including client-defined fields.

“In most companies, services spending is a large but relatively untapped opportunity for savings due in part to the complexity of the category,” said Kevin Brooks, Senior Vice President of Marketing, IQNavigator. “IQN10 helps get this category under control with an intuitive, process-based approach that automates every step from an initial request for a service or contingent position all the way through approvals, candidate selection, on-boarding and ultimately, completion of the assignment or project.”

New Features
In addition to the enhanced user interface, IQN10 features a variety of new features designed to help both occasional users and power users gain more visibility and control over services spending. Notable new features include:

Custom reporting on over 5,000 standard and client-defined data elements

Simplified management of multiple open positions

Quick glance views of candidate information and resumes

Graphical project status and candidate tracking

Guided workflow to support candidate recruiting, hiring and performance management

Candidate ranking

Supplier collaboration

Availability
IQN10 is the latest version of IQNavigator’s award-winning SaaS solution and is currently available to all customers.

“It is an honor to be recognized in the company of such an accomplished group of women, and I am grateful to both the Denver Business Journal and to my mentors over the years who have supported me in my career,” said Liberman, a Colorado native who grew up on her family’s cattle ranch and attended the University of Colorado.

In 2000, Liberman was among the first employees at Denver-based startup IQNavigator, now the leading provider of services spend management solutions to large, global companies. She quickly distinguished herself as a leader, helping client procurement executives craft solutions to help save their organizations millions of dollars while growing one of the most admired client service organizations in the industry. IQNavigator president and CEO John Raeder credits Liberman with helping the company meet or exceed its revenue numbers for 36 consecutive quarters. IQNavigator grew 52 percent year-over-year in 2008, and had sales bookings growth of 300 percent year-over-year in the first quarter of 2009.

“She’s my aide-de-camp in the company, really the chief of staff for me,” said Raeder. “I expect over time she’ll become CEO of this company or another fast-growing tech company.”

Award Honors Companies for Supply Chain Excellence; IQNavigator Named to Esteemed List for Sixth Time

DENVER, Colorado – June 25, 2009 – IQNavigator, the premium provider of global services procurement solutions and managed service programs, today announced the company has been named to the esteemed Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 for the sixth time in its storied history. IQNavigator was recognized for helping customers quickly and easily turn complex services spend into a new source of value, competitive advantage, and continuous bottom-line improvement.

“The 2009 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 are supply chain solution and service providers that are helping their customers and clients both respond to the downturn and, more importantly, position themselves for growth ahead,” said Andrew K. Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “Our goal with the ‘100′ is to highlight a broad range of solutions and services targeted at a variety of industries, addressing the needs of companies of varying sizes, and assisting in the transformation of the diverse mix of the functions that make up the supply chain.”

This award further validates the market momentum IQNavigator has experienced over the past year. Notable successes include IQNavigator’s designation as one of the nation’s most promising 100 private companies by Red Herring, achieving finalist standing in the 2009 American Business Awards for the corporate growth and product/service innovation categories, and CEO John P. Raeder’s finalist status in the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition for the Rocky Mountain Region. IQNavigator was also recognized by leading industry analyst firm Forrester Research as the best services procurement vendor in 2008.

Additionally, IQNavigator introduced its market-leading Intelligent Managed Service Program (MSP) in 2008 to ensure transparency and alignment with companies’ business goals versus those of suppliers and vendors. The Intelligent MSP has been highly successful in delivering clients the broadest view of savings while empowering quantifiable results-driven decision making to efficiently manage the performance and cost of service suppliers.

“The opportunity for large organizations to gain control of services spending and drive cost savings across business categories and geographies during this uncertain economy is monumental,” said John P. Raeder Jr., president and CEO of IQNavigator. “Enterprises that seize the opportunity now will be extremely well positioned to expand on their momentum and success during the upturn. It’s an honor to be recognized once again by Supply & Demand Chain Executive for the tremendous work we’re doing on behalf of our Global 2000 customers in this capacity.”
